back from hk! i'll like to say YAY but honsetly i'll rather still be on vacation. i mean wont you? haha. anyway gonna be a boring post! my 8-day 7-night recount of my holidayyy. haha :P
1stday first thing we did was to eat lunch. then we went to xuliushan cos everyone was telling us we had to go. the mango stuff were not bad but everything else kinda...blew. yeah. then we went to walk the road of stars crap. and boy ppl can go crazy over a few handprints and statues. i kinda was more WOW-ed into the starbucks right beside.. haha. i lie. its just handprints dont excite me haha.
2ndday met my parents' friends to eat nicenice dimsum(: then while the adults started talking and half speaking cantonese which i frankly st!nk at, my bro and i were entertaining ourselves by watching this youth band and dance marathon they were having downstairs. haha. then we took the ferry trying to head to stanley street or something. some shopping area or something then my mum was so proud of herself when she got off the ferry, she was like"HA! i didnt puke! why is the floor still shaking?" and we were on concrete ground. haha. saw the worlds longest escalator and ate at some honeymoon dessert thing which i think is WAAAAY better than xuliushan. haha.
3rdday went to ocean park which rain and huimin told me was a MUST GO! but then it wasnt all that funnn. i guess once you've been to australia theme parks, it kinda makes everything seem weak. haha. had this HUGE HUGE length of my two hands put together sausage bread (yes my hands are small but it was still kinda biggg) THEN THE HIGH POINT OF THAT DAY! we played this carni-ish game where you had to HIT this rubber part where the lever will BOING this frog up and supposed to land in the lillypad. 4 tries my bro and i took 2 each. i got BOTH in and he got none. won myself this softtoy train called THOMAS CHOOCHOO. bro bought a panda he named kapookie. went to the peak on tram. this boy wanted thomas choochoo, i kinda got scared he wont return so i didnt lend him. he nearly cried, i felt bad but TOO BAD. then went mongkok to scout around for potential stuff we may want. efficient huh.
4thday my parents' friend brought us over to shenzhen cos she said stuff there are cheaper. waaay cheaper. but knowing me, i went there and didnt buy a thing. my bro on the other hand bought like 10 pairs of socks. hahahhaa. then we went back to her house and while the three adults went to eat, my bro ryan and i stayed home to chill. they played halo and i listened to my bro's ipod for about 1-2hours? then we ate yoshi food. then went home:D
5thday we took a ferry to macau. i felt so bad for my mum cos she gets seasick insanely easily. so the first time was pretty rough for her... then we went to these places to buy food stuff and see landmark stuffs. there was this area where we had to climb a lot of steps. then halfway through my mum was laughing at my bro for low stamina, she said "ha i can see you panting! ohwait, thats just me." hahaha and it was trueee. then we saw the grandgrandgrand casinos then we went back. the water was SO choppy, i could feel my heart JUMP everytime it rocked. i loved it but my mum was all sick-ish.
6thday disneyland day! :D everyone said it wasnt worth it but i liked it! hahaha. i went on ALL the boring lil' cutecute rides. space mountain wasnt scary at all.. stitch was acting silly, the carousel was cute. everything was so insanely cute. then the ONLY sounvenir for that day was some metal coin thing. haha it was cool! still is. :P
7thday it was my family's self-proclaimed shopping day which i swear KILLED me. we shopped at mongkok for practically 8hours. at first it was okay-ish then my legs started getting sore and i felt like just crawling around. i wanted to crash sleep that night but nooooo my brother decided he wanted to wrestle so after which i couldnt sleep. rawr.
8thday we woke up early to eat the long awaited dimsum at this stall that we long awaited. haha. i thought the food was NOT worth the wait. rawr. then we went to the airport, ate food at the awesome awesome lounge (which was not HALF as awesome as the lounge in s'pore) then got up the plane and homesweethome.
did i mention that the kowloon hotel has awesome tv channels?! haha. actually my bro and i kinda rotated between AXN and star world. this holiday was totally different because they couldnt provide us with connecting rooms so my bro and i got a room ALL to ourselves. haha. which kinda meant we stayed up late watching shows and it felt really freedom-ish. but i didnt dare say cos my mum was really sad our rooms werent connected. haha. oh did i mention that we ate at the same few restaurants REALLY frequently. i bet the ppl there recognize us(: yeah thats about it, my fingers are tired from typing and my mind is tired from thinking. okay bye.
